This is a relaxed camp to start off the year for the whole Group - Cubs, Scouts, Venturers, Rovers, and their families.

This year we once again have the opportunity to use the Ausgrid Staff facility of Bargoed House with a large open space great for field games and lakeside access.

Note - it does not have a sandy beach.

The idea of a "Family Camp" is for families to come along. Come for the weekend or come for a day. Swansea is close enough to just drop in for a few hours.

The total cost will be approximately $50 including camping and meals for the whole weekend. This will be finalised as soon as we have a good idea of numbers.

There will be Group tents and facilities for Cubs and Scouts to camp, or they can camp with their family. Venturers and Rovers are to organise their own tents. We also have spare tents for any parents who want to come but don't have their own. You may also be able to bring in a van - to be confirmed.

Activities to include canoeing, fishing and more. Parents may also bring or borrow canoes, kayaks, sailboards or other craft for use with their own family if they wish.
